Educational Activities
- Michele Betsill (University of Colorado-Boulder): Worked
with Michael Glantz on problems of food security in the South
African Development Community. Assisted Glantz in
preparation of ENSO climate-related impacts maps. Also
assisted in preparation of training module for UNITAR on
Guidelines for Developing a Vulnerability and Adaptation
Assessment.
- Elizabeth Collins (University of Denver): Worked with
Michael Glantz on assessing rates and processes of
environmental change. Also assisted in preparation of UNITAR
training module.
- Leslea Davison (Rice University): Worked with Richard Katz
on statistical modeling, in connection with the Geophysical
Statistics Project.
- Kevin Gallagher (Regis University): Worked with Michael
Glantz on assembling a data base of ENSO applications in
North America and related climate impact maps.

Assessment Informal Planning Meeting," which was held in Boulder,
